Korean Liberation Army's Attempted Infiltration Mission Documentation Discovered

The National Institute of Korean History (Guksa Pyeonchan Wiwonhoe) has discovered 180,000 pages of documents related to a planned infiltration mission by the Korean Liberation Army and the U.S. Office of Strategic Services (OSS - the predecessor of the CIA) during World War II. This mission aimed to deploy Korean Liberation Army operatives into strategic locations within Korea. However, the plan was aborted following Japan's surrender. The Institute intends to collect and publish these documents starting next year.
