This was a repeat visit. Last year, I had my makeup done by Teacher Lea and I loved it so much that I decided I absolutely had to have her do my makeup again on this trip too! She welcomed me warmly, I showed her a photo of the makeup look I wanted, and she finished it in an hour. After the makeup is done, they also give you a touch-up sponge and a tint, so you can feel at ease! (I got my makeup done first thing in the morning, and it didn’t break down at all.) With other makeup shops, you might not get any touch-up items, or on weekends it can feel really rushed, but here you can move forward with the makeup while consulting one-on-one, so it’s reassuring, and thanks to her personality it’s a comfortable place to be. If you’re unsure which makeup shop to choose, I want you to trust this review and try making a reservation.

We booked a 1-hour outdoor photoshoot at Baek In-Je House in Seoul, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our Korea trip. We met our photographer at the entrance at 5:00 PM, and to our surprise, there was no one else there. It felt like we had the entire beautiful traditional house and grounds to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. Our photographer was incredibly attentive, patient, and professional throughout the session. They guided us every step of the way, showing us how to position our hands, hold our hanbok properly, and where to look for the best shots. Their direction helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, even though we're not used to being photographed. The results exceeded our expectations—we received more than 800 photos and now have the difficult task of choosing our favorites for editing! Every image beautifully captured the atmosphere of the location and the joy of the experience. This photoshoot created so many memorable moments and gave us wonderful keepsakes from our trip. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Seoul and looking for a unique way to capture their time in Korea.

If you see this post, I’d advise you not to go. The owner (seems like it) is very pretty, but her skills are super average—and average yet confident 👍🏻 She can groom eyebrows, but her aesthetic is that Korean-style straight flat brow, and it gets dull and cakey really fast. We booked for two, and for both of us, one side of the false lashes was stuck in an uncomfortable spot. After it was done, we both felt like it would’ve been better to do it ourselves 💅 There was a Singaporean auntie in front of us too—after hers was done, it looked like she got so pissed she just grabbed her stuff and left, completely ignoring her family xDD
