Having a translator accompany me the whole time made me feel really at ease. I asked the on-site staff and they said the procedure I had was SMILE Pro 3.0, which is already the newest machine—maybe the platform just hasn’t been updated. This month the exchange rate in Korea is honestly pretty bad. Even though it ended up a bit more expensive than when I did it before because of the exchange rate, it’s still much cheaper compared to prices in Taiwan. The procedure itself was super fast and I couldn’t feel any pain, but once the anesthesia wore off I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I was also extremely sensitive to light and my eyes kept tearing up. After resting at the hotel for a few hours, I recovered about 80%. Then I slept again at night, and by the next day I was basically almost recovered. At the follow-up the next day, the doctor said my vision had already recovered to 1.2, and also checked in to see if I had any other issues. Before coming to Korea, I had an eye exam done in Taiwan. Compared to that, the exams in Korea felt more thorough and more varied—different optometrists even helped do the testing. The repeated tests were to make sure all the data was accurate! What surprised me was that the prescription and astigmatism measured in Korea were actually more than 50 degrees different from Taiwan’s. The clinic in Korea is huge, and locals make up about 80% of the patients. You can tell it’s a very professional ophthalmology clinic. I really feel like I chose the right place. I highly recommend everyone to come to this clinic.

Three of us visited after making a reservation in advance with friends. We didn’t start at exactly the same time and there was a bit of a time gap, but it was within an acceptable range. The personal color analysis was more legit than I expected—not just “colors that suit you” and “colors that don’t,” but they also explained details like brightness, hair colors that would suit me, accessory colors, etc. I brought five different colored contacts, and after doing the analysis they helped me decide which colors suited me! The makeup was done beautifully, and for any tools I was curious about, they wrote down the product names and shade numbers, and they also let me take photos. I understand just a tiny bit of Korean, so they chose easy-to-understand words and spoke slowly, and when I told them “I don’t understand,” they used a translator to explain. One friend chatted in simple English. The other friend said everything was communicated through a translator! There were also staff who were fluent in English and Japanese! Not only are they good at makeup, they’re also great at hair styling. I learned a lot, like how to add volume! The staff were kind, and all three of us were super satisfied! At the end, they email you the personal color analysis results as a PDF (and you also get a simple paper sheet), but my friend’s results were all in Chinese, which was a bit disappointing... Also, I was shocked because the eyeliner they applied on my inner waterline didn’t smudge even at night and still looked nice!! Mine always smudges! I regret not asking the product name... Everyone, make sure you ask so you don’t regret it later. Lol.

She explained what suits me all the way down to hair color, makeup, and even the colors and textures of accessories, so I’m very satisfied. Also, for the hair and makeup, Sally helped me.
