Vandalism on Busan's Geumjeongsan Peak Stone Ahead of National Park Designation

A marker stone on the summit of Geumjeongsan, Busan's highest mountain, was vandalized with paper and glue covering its original name, 'Godangbon'. The alteration comes as the area nears national park designation, highlighting the cultural and environmental significance of this site, which includes the large Geumjeong Fortress. Authorities are investigating the act, which damages a marker restored with public donations after lightning damage in 2016.
