On August 13th, after 41 days of traveling, the journey continues from Kazakhstan to Southern Russia, crossing the arid steppes and exploring cultural landscapes. The road leads over the Ural River, marking the transition from Asia to Europe, and into the expansive plains of Southern Russia. Historical connections are drawn from the ancient Scythians who roamed these lands, whose goldsmith traditions are found as far as Korea’s Silla dynasty. The entry into Astrakhan accompanies a glimpse of the Volga River, where the influence of K-Pop is noted in a local Russian's warm Korean greeting. Traversing this historic region encompasses both personal and cultural insights, reflecting on nomadic pasts and modern interactions across Eurasia.
