Extension of Eunpyeong Han Culture Experience Special Zone

Seoul's Eunpyeong District has received approval to extend the 'Eunpyeong Bukhansan Han Culture Experience Special Zone' period for the third time, now lasting until 2027. This unique area, first established in 2015, focuses on preserving and experiencing traditional Korean culture using the region's natural environment and traditional Hanoks (traditional Korean houses). Future plans include expanding from 3 to 17 sub-projects and incorporating literary events related to the upcoming National Korean Literature Museum. These efforts aim to enhance cultural experiences for both residents and tourists.
