Pianist Kim Jeong-won recently performed at a matinee concert in Chuncheon, Korea. The concert, themed 'Fantasy of Early Summer,' delighted around 100 attendees with its relaxed and focused atmosphere. Kim presented a selection of fantasy-themed pieces, including Mozart's rarely performed Fantasy in D minor, Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 (often referred to as the 'Moonlight Sonata'), and Chopin's Fantasy in F minor. The event also featured duo performances with his student, Yeon-ji Yeo, playing Schubert's Fantasy and Debussy's Petite Suite. Kim, who has performed globally, praised Chuncheon's blend of art and nature. The concert concluded with Chopin’s Nocturne as an encore.
