The Korea Tourism Organization held a K-Tourism Roadshow in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the One Utama Shopping Center, aiming to attract more visitors to South Korea. The event featured local travel agencies, airlines, and OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and included experiential zones for Korean cuisine and cosmetics. Around 30,000 people visited the roadshow, and a travel mart at the Renaissance Hotel facilitated over 1,000 consultations among tourism enterprises and local governments from both countries. Despite recovery from the pandemic being slow, especially with direct flights, South Korea aims to increase tourism from this nation where Korean cultural content is highly consumed.
