The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) is performing in Korea for the first time in 13 years, from October 24 to 27 at the GS Art Center in Seoul. Celebrating its 85th anniversary, ABT is presenting a variety of works from classic to contemporary ballet. The performances feature both traditional pieces such as 'Pas de Deux' and contemporary pieces like 'The Theme and Variations' by George Balanchine. Among the performers are five Korean dancers, including principal dancer Seo Hee. Artistic Director Susan Jaffe highlights the technical skill and boldness of the Korean dancers.
