The Korean adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s classic The Cherry Orchard, retitled '벚꽃동산' (The Cherry Orchard), starring Jeon Do‑yeon and Park Hae‑soo, will conclude its three‑year international tour with 11 performances from July 16–26 at the Wade Thompson Drill Hall in New York’s Park Avenue Armory. Produced by LG Arts Center and directed by Simon Stone, the production reimagines Chekhov’s play in contemporary Korean society, contrasting a family that refuses to adapt with a changing world. The cast includes nine original Seoul performers plus newcomer Park Hee‑jung. This engagement marks the first time a Korean production appears at Park Avenue Armory and follows stops in Busan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Adelaide.
