Lecture by Picture Book Author Kim Yu-dae Held in Wonju

The 79th invited-author lecture featuring picture book author Kim Yu-dae will be held on Sept. 14 at 10:00 AM on the second floor of Wonju Picture Book Center Il-sang Yesul (일상예술). Hosted by Paerangi-kkot Picture Book Bus (패랭이꽃그림책버스) and the picture book center, the talk titled “Why I Drew So Many Bugs” will explore Kim’s picture book work. The free event is open to all citizens; online registration is available via the center’s blog and the Paerangi-kkot Picture Book Bus Daum cafe until the 11th. Kim won last year’s Korea Picture Book Award (대한민국 그림책상) nonfiction grand prize for “Oh My, Stylish Ones!” and is also the author and illustrator of books such as “Operation Raising a Puppy.”
