The Korea Tourism Organization launches the '100X100' public-participation campaign in September, turning 9,883 sites (6,336 unique places) chosen by about 40,000 voters into travel-ready attractions. The month-long 'Pro Traveler Stamp Rally' invites visitors to verify visits with photos by theme; visiting even one spot qualifies entrants for prizes. A '100X100 Phone Case Decorating' contest will pick 50 participants to receive custom phone cases made from their edited photos. During Chuseok (Korean harvest holiday), a playful 'Tell Us Your Wish' feature recommends suitable domestic spots. Through year-end, KTO will continue interactive events like pet-friendly trip verifications and a photo festival sharing amusing travel moments, plus seasonal travel recommendations. KTO hopes small local visits will boost regional vitality.
