Koo Jung-ah’s Century of Drawings Showcased at Leeum Museum

Seoul’s Leeum Museum is hosting artist Koo Jung-ah’s solo exhibition “Koo Jung-ah: Usmos,” presenting about 35 key works that condense her 30-year practice. The show includes early 1990s drawings and large-scale recent pieces, plus a collection of roughly 1,000 stored drawings displayed in boxes for visitors to inspect. Koo represented Korea at the 2024 Venice Biennale, and this exhibition highlights the breadth of her drawing-based work and evolving visual language.
