Emart Expands Eco-Friendly Chuseok Gift Sets to Meet Value-Based Demand

Emart said it will expand its eco-friendly and organic gift sets for Chuseok with preorders through Sept. 16, offering up to 35% off with store card payments and 2+1 promotions. Its private label "Natureism" (자연주의) saw 7.5% sales growth through July, and eco processed-food gift sets grew over 40% in prior holidays. Emart increased supply for this year’s eco gift sets by 20% versus last Chuseok and nearly doubled stock of a new organic olive oil set. Featured items include low-carbon certified apple/pear mixes, organic premium nut assortments, and organic shiitake sets; some products carry card discounts or buy-2-get-1 offers. New launches include an organic multigrain set (eight grains including oat rice and Horasan wheat) and an organic extra-virgin olive oil & balsamic set. Emart is broadening eco options from produce to processed foods as consumers increasingly consider production methods like low-carbon certification and organic farming when selecting holiday gifts.
