Namwon city in Jeollabuk-do opened a local cosmetics shop called 'Chunhyang Beauty' at Hanaro Mart Gojuk branch, allowing consumers to see, test and buy 38 skin and functional products from five regional brands (Kovix, OnSkin, Hanmi, J-Ground, HighSol). The shop uses Jirisan plant ingredients and local research resources and will operate through December as a promotional and sales hub for the city’s cosmetic industry. The name, chosen by public contest, combines 'Chunhyang' (a legendary local heroine) and 'miin' (beauty) to reflect regional identity and product focus. Namwon officials say the space will help local companies secure stable distribution and sustainable growth.
