Braun Unveils 3rd-Generation Electric Shaver 'NEVO' with Actor Gong Yoo as Brand Model

Braun Korea launched its third-generation flagship electric shaver, NEVO, marking the company’s first major flagship update in 12 years. NEVO introduces 'Silk Shaving' technology and the new 'Silk Glide Foil'—a micro-embossed structure inspired by shark skin that the company says reduces skin friction by up to 24% compared with the previous OptiFoil. The shaver also features 'Quattro Silk Cutting' (four cutting elements) for close contact shaving down to 0.12 mm beneath the skin surface and 'NEVO Sense,' which detects beard density in real time to adjust performance. The body uses a one-piece stainless steel 316L construction formed by hydroforming; the unit includes a display for battery and cleaning status and a '7-in-1 Smart Care Center' that automatically cleans, dries, lubricates, and charges the device. Actor Gong Yoo (a popular Korean actor) was named the new brand ambassador and attended NEVO’s unpack event in Seoul on August 20.
