LF, a Korean lifestyle company, upgraded its premium shopping site LF Mall by enhancing its AI shopping agent 'LF Styletalk' with voice-to-text and image-based search features. Launched in July, Styletalk uses conversational generative AI to recommend products based on user descriptions; within a month it handled about 10,000 conversations, with roughly 75% of users in their 40s–50s. Recent updates let users speak queries and hear AI replies (useful when typing is inconvenient) and upload clothing photos for similar-item searches. The image feature identifies individual items in full-body photos, analyzes color, pattern, material and fit, and supports follow-up constraints like “slimmer fit” or “in black.” If an item is unclear, the AI asks clarifying questions to improve accuracy. Styletalk also suggests matching clothing and accessories for a near in-store styling experience. Later this year, LF plans to add suggested follow-up question buttons so users can continue without typing. LF says it will keep refining Styletalk to deliver more natural, personalized shopping across text, voice, and images.
