LG Household & Health (LG H&H) has agreed to sell 100% of its Avon North America business (the Avon Company) to Stratford Worldwide, an affiliate of global investor Regent. The deal returns Avon’s North American operations under Regent’s leadership, which already owns Avon International. LG H&H acquired Avon’s North American rights in 2019 but is shifting strategy as consumer purchasing moves to retail and digital channels. The company will concentrate resources on high-growth K-beauty and wellness brands such as Dr.Groot (Dr. Groot), belif, and CNP, and strengthen retail- and digital-first brand strategies. LG H&H framed the move as part of a broader portfolio reshuffle to divest non-core assets and invest in science-based beauty and health brands. Regent says the consolidation will enable cross-border collaboration on product development, marketing, and social selling. LG H&H will also convert loans to equity between its North American unit and Avon as an internal accounting step with no cash changes or ownership shifts.
