Lotte Department Store launched the “Lotte Gift Club” membership for customers (both individual and corporate) who spend 1,000,000 won or more on holiday food gift sets. Introduced last autumn and expanded for this Lunar New Year, the program offers tiered rewards—gift certificates in-store (5–7%) and 8% L.Point accrual online—for qualifying purchases during the pre-sale and main sale periods. By targeting high-spending patrons with personalized benefits and extending offers online, Lotte says high-value customer sales about doubled compared with last year; the club also boosted the share and number of premium buyers since its launch.
