Lee Byung-hun Misses Golden Globe Win for Decision to Leave It to Fate

Actor Lee Byung-hun was nominated for Best Actor (Musical or Comedy) at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards for director Park Chan-wook’s film Decision to Leave It to Fate (Korean title: 어쩔수가없다) but did not win. The award went to Timothée Chalamet for Maestro. Lee attended the Busan International Film Festival press event earlier and applauded the winner with a smile when the result was announced. Park Chan-wook’s film was also shortlisted for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and Best Foreign Language (Non-English Language) Film. Separately, the Netflix animated film K-pop: Demon Hunters won the Best Original Song award for “Golden” and is nominated for Best Animated Feature and Box Office Achievement.
