Musical: 'The Blue Lion Wanini' follows Wanini, a female lion expelled from her pride for being weak and a poor hunter, who grows stronger while roaming the grasslands with other stray lions. The show adapts a bestselling long-form children’s story that sold over one million copies, with music by composer Kim Hye-sung (known for musicals like 'Finding Kim Jong-wook' and 'Oh! While You Were Sleeping'). Running through the 25th at Nowon Arts Center Grand Theater (Nowonmunhwa Yesulhoegwan).
Play: 'The Turing Machine' stages the life of genius mathematician Alan Turing — a closeted gay man who also stuttered — highlighting his role cracking the German Enigma code in World War II and inventing the 'Turing test' for machine intelligence. Two actors portray multiple characters; cast includes Lee Seung-ju and Lee Sang-yoon. Playing until March 1 at Sejong Center S Theater (Sejongmunhwahoegwan S Theater).
