Hwan Gallery in Daegu opens “Unfold: Potluck of Youth” from January 3–20, showcasing 20 selected young artists from across Korea in a group exhibition. The show is a public-call project to activate a young artist community, discover and support emerging talents. The top four artists with the highest sales in the first group stage will be reselected for a second, smaller group exhibition, and one emerging artist will receive a solo show plus an art fair opportunity. The exhibition is presented in an “art potluck” (a casual event where attendees bring snacks and share conversations about art) format to encourage dialogue between artists and collectors. Gallery hours are 10:00–19:00, closed Sundays.
