Lotte Wellfood introduced ‘Siksayiron Jinguk’—a cup-noodle-style instant gukbap (Korean soup with rice) that’s ready in three minutes with boiling water. The line includes three varieties: beef & seaweed (soegogi miyeokgukbap), dried pollack (bukeo gukbap), and rich ox-bone broth (sagol gomtang gukbap). Using FD (freeze-drying) and MPS (multi pore structure) techniques, the products preserve natural flavors, textures, and nutrients, and feature real meat pieces and a block soup made from boiled broth. Each cup is under 200 kcal, marketed for busy workers, solo households, and outdoor activities like camping. Lotte plans more convenient, health-focused ready meals under the Siksayiron brand and will collaborate with small merchants to expand product offerings.
