Chuncheon City Gugak and Gangwon Provincial Orchestra Unite for 'Inyeon' Concert

On November 27 at 7:30 PM, the Chuncheon City Gugak Orchestra (artistic director Lee Yura) will present its 8th regular concert titled "Inyeon (인연)" at the Chuncheon Culture & Arts Center. Under the theme "sounds meet, hearts connect," the program blends traditional and modern elements of gugak (Korean traditional music) to explore artistic connections. Co-produced with the Gangwon Provincial Gugak Orchestra, the concert features cross-genre collaborations including special guest singer Joo Byung-seon performing his hit "Chilgapsan (칠갑산)" and gugak songs like "Hanne's Farewell (한네의 이별)." The program also includes reinterpretations of folk songs such as "Noyoung Nayoung" and "Bae Ttwieora," a medley of Arirang, and joint performances with B-boy team "Massacrew" for a lively, varied show. Tickets are available on the Chuncheon City Arts troupe website (general seats 15,000 KRW; Chuncheon residents 10,000 KRW; students/seniors 7,000 KRW). This is the second joint stage for the two ensembles after collaborating at the Hoban Music Festival last year.
