Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), operator of the foreigner-only Seven Luck casinos, announced a tourism spending coupon program in partnership with the Yongsan Tourism Council to attract foreign visitors and stimulate local tourism. Formed in 2022 after the opening of Seven Luck Casino Seoul Dragon City, the council includes GKL, HDC Shilla Duty Free (HDC신라면세점), I'Park Mall Yongsan (아이파크몰 용산점), YTN Seoul Tower (YTN서울타워), and Seoul Dragon City. The new Seven Luck Tour Pass card will be issued to new foreign visitors to Seven Luck casinos with an initial 10,000 KRW charge; additional 10,000 KRW points are added each time the card is used at participating Yongsan businesses, partner institutions, or designated small merchants. HDC Shilla Duty Free and I'Park Mall will offer extra perks—prepaid cards, transport support, refreshments—based on spending. The card was launched in collaboration with Orange Square’s WOWPASS (와우패스), a prepaid tourist card for foreigners that supports reload, payment, currency exchange, and transit functions. GKL CEO Yoon Doo-hyun said the casino draws up to 1 million foreign visitors annually and expects the program to encourage local tourism spending and help the regional economy.
