Samillo Warehouse Theater will stage the 'Senior Actors' (연극하는 시니어) program over two days, Oct 29–30, showcasing performances by 18 senior actors who trained in script reading, blocking, and movement since Sept 29. Two plays will be performed: a satirical piece titled 'What Happened in the Principal’s Office at Sagok High…?' — adapted from Fritz Karinthy's play 'Return My Tuition' — which uses the comedic encounter of a graduate-turned-homeless person demanding tuition reimbursement to critique education and authority; and 'Sagok-ri 49,' an omnibus mystery set in an old house in a deep forest, composed of three phone-, portrait-, and spirit-themed stories plus an epilogue that probe desire, fear, and the boundary with the unseen world. Directors and cast aim to convey the seniors’ passion and three months of rehearsal, offering audiences moving and resonant theatrical experiences.
