Eagle Ridge Pine Hills Golf Club near Manila has undergone major rebuilding and service innovations under chairman Kim Jung-in, turning two years of losses into profit. After partnering with IRC (Ireland Resort Club), the club has strengthened Korean-style offerings—adding more Korean (han-sik) menu options, importing modern golf carts from Korea, and rebuilding its Andy Dye-designed Pine Hills course to meet Korean golfers’ turf and maintenance expectations. Kim also fostered close cooperation between about 30 Korean staff and local employees to blend service culture, and plans to introduce a night golf system next year to enable late tee-offs and evening rounds in cooler conditions. The resort operates four courses by designers Nick Faldo, Greg Norman, Isao Aoki, and Andy Dye, and aims to position Eagle Ridge as a premier Philippine golf destination by continuing hardware and software innovations.
