Daedong Yeju-do has partnered with Hwegok Brewery in Andong to release two special 'Jaga soju' (home-soju) editions inspired by JTBC's hit drama 'The Story of Manager Kim Who Owns a Seoul Home and Works at a Large Corporation'—based on Song Hee-gu's bestselling novel. The 'Kim Manager Edition' (31% ABV) reflects the seasoned, traditional-distilled soju suited to those who appreciate deeper flavors, while the 'Song Section Chief Edition' (21% ABV) offers a cleaner, milder profile aimed at newcomers and low-alcohol drinkers. Both are made from Korean rice, traditional nuruk (fermentation starter), and clear water from the Nakdong River, then cold-aged for over six months. The collaboration exemplifies a growing trend of Korean traditional liquors teaming with K-content to reach broader audiences.
