Ji-in Kim (26) presents her first solo exhibition 'Flowing Emotions — Waves of Solace' at the CICA Museum in Gimpo until Nov 2. The show features 11 glazed ceramic works made over the past two years, ranging from large to small pieces unified by blue-green hues. Trained at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Kim explores emotional fluidity using water’s changing forms to visualize inner states — sadness, anxiety and comfort — transforming negative feelings into something beautiful. Her 'Emotional Sculpture' language and layered glazes invite viewers into a quiet space to reflect on shared inner life and find small moments of solace.
