Gangnam District will hold the '2025 Dogok Food Culture Festa' on the 30th from 1–5 PM around Dogok Market. The market-focused cultural festival aims to blend K-food with arts to boost the local food and cultural scene. A gourmet zone features popular market dishes; shoppers who spend over 10,000 won receive a coupon redeemable for one item (meat noodle, hot dog, rice ball, or fried chicken) and a coffee. Performances include Super Junior’s Sungmin (appearing as a trot singer), busking acts, and a resident singing contest. Hands-on activities like making gangjeong (a traditional Korean sweet) and eco-bag painting will be offered. The district mayor said the event is part of efforts to support local merchants and make traditional markets lively community hubs.
