Jeju’s digital tourist pass called 'Nauda' has exceeded 50,000 sign-ups since its launch on August 11. Officials say growth was boosted by an online promotion offering 500 Naver points and visits by about 5,000 members of the Korean Junior Chamber (JC) for a national conference. To celebrate reaching 50,000 users, Nauda will temporarily expand benefits: from November 1 through the end of the year, all Nauda members get admission to 27 public tourist sites on Jeju at local resident (domein) rates. Starting next year, a second-tier membership will offer additional discounts for users who accumulate enough points. Any tourist can sign up via the 'Visit Jeju' (비짓 제주) website.
