Starbucks Korea announced it will provide 100 million won in scholarships to 45 children of police officers who were killed or injured in the line of duty. This effort is part of a ‘Hero Program’ agreement signed with the National Police Agency in February, under which Starbucks pledged to deliver beverages and food to outstanding police stations and to support 300 million won in scholarships over three years for affected families. Recently, Starbucks visited police stations in Cheongju (Heungdeok), Incheon (Michuhol), Seoul (Gangnam), and Busan (Suyeong) to deliver coffee for about 1,000 officers.
