The Ulsan Ulju Cultural Foundation will present a solo exhibition by local artist Kim Hye-sook from Oct 21 to Nov 1 at the Ulju Culture & Arts Center’s Cheum Gallery. The show features 22 works including “The Path of the Heart,” “Poppy,” “Stirring the Heart,” “The Woman in the Garden and Her Dog,” and signature piece “Opening the Door of Hope,” which symbolizes an inner light blooming in a closed world. Kim’s paintings emphasize contemplation and healing, developed through nuanced depictions of emotions over time. She has participated in numerous exhibitions such as the Ulsan 25 Artists Exhibition and Korea-China art exchanges. The Ulju Cultural Foundation hopes the exhibition will offer visitors a time for artistic reflection and emotional healing.
