Maeil Dairies' clinical nutrition brand Mediwell launched a new liquid meal 'Mediwell Roasted Nurungji Flavor' designed for older adults and patients. Co-developed with geriatric specialists, the lactose-free drink features MCT oil (medium-chain triglycerides) and low-molecular hydrolyzed protein for easier digestion, plus balanced macronutrients and 25 vitamins and minerals including selenium, chromium and molybdenum. Made with Korean rice nurungji powder (scorched rice snack), the product offers a familiar savory taste and comes in aseptic six-layer packaging for shelf stability in 120ml and 200ml sizes. Mediwell supplies over 1,000 hospitals and institutions and also offers other therapeutic nutrition products like diabetic formulas.
