Incheon International Airport has introduced a service to inform passengers of the estimated wait times for departure procedures, including security checks and immigration at each terminal. This service helps travelers choose the less crowded departure hall by showing real-time wait times. The information is gathered through big data sensors analyzing passenger flow and is presented as an integrated time for the entire departure process, not just segment-wise durations. Initially available at Terminal 1, the service is planned to be expanded to Terminal 2 after a trial period. This service aims to enhance convenience and efficient time management for airport users.
