Garuda Indonesia partnered with Plataran Hotels, a luxury hotel chain in Indonesia, to organize a fam tour from June 27 to July 3, involving travel agencies and media participants. Plataran Hotels offers luxury and sustainable tourism experiences across Indonesia, operating at major tourist sites including Bali, Borobudur, and Komodo. Plataran Puncak, known for its cool climate and scenic beauty, offers unique experiences like picnic breakfasts at the large Gunung Mas tea plantation.
Plataran Heritage Borobudur is located near the iconic Borobudur Temple, offering VVIP tours that include private guides and exclusive access. The hotel provides a memorable breakfast view overlooking the temple.
Plataran Bromo, situated at the Bromo National Park entrance, is famous for its sunrise tours using jeeps to explore volcanic areas and savor a picnic breakfast at nearby grasslands.
