Bulgari Korea CEO Receives Italy’s Order of the Star for Promoting Cultural and Economic Ties

Lee Jung-hak, CEO of Bulgari Korea, was awarded the Order of the Star of Italy on September 1 at the Italian ambassador’s residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul. The honor recognizes foreigners and overseas Italians who have strengthened friendship and cooperation with Italy; it is proposed by the Italian foreign minister and conferred by the president. Lee, a Seoul National University economics graduate with an MBA from Wharton, worked in finance before spending about 15 years in the luxury sector and joining Bulgari in 2015. As Bulgari Korea’s head since October 2018, he helped promote Italian culture and business in Korea through support of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, sponsorship of Republic Day events (June 2) and gala dinners, and backing exhibitions such as “Caravaggio and the Faces of the Baroque” at Seoul Arts Center. The award acknowledges his contributions to deepening Italy–Korea cultural and economic exchanges.
