Conrad Seoul GM Samuel Peter Named Hilton Area General Manager for Korea

Samuel Peter, who became General Manager of the Conrad Seoul in June last year, has been appointed Hilton’s Area General Manager for Korea while retaining his Conrad Seoul role. The Swiss executive brings over 20 years of hotel experience in Asia and Europe and more than 14 years with Hilton, having held leadership posts in Singapore, Tokyo and Hiroshima. From his base at Conrad Seoul—the only Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in Korea located in Yeouido’s IFC (International Finance Center)—he will oversee Hilton properties in Korea including DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo and Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam, coordinating management, operations and inter-hotel collaboration. Peter has led major event operations such as external catering for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and F1-related hospitality, and has focused at Conrad Seoul on guest experience, F&B (food and beverage) competitiveness, and facility improvements. He said he will respect each brand’s strengths while creating synergy and delivering Hilton’s hospitality in the Korean market.
