Korean Italian bistro The Place (operated by CJ Foodville) has introduced two limited-time seasonal items featuring fresh figs: a Fig Ricotta Salad and a Fig Tiramisu. The Fig Ricotta Salad enhances the bistro’s signature Ricotta Fruta Salad with house-made ricotta cheese and sweet, juicy fresh figs. The Fig Tiramisu is a new variation on the classic Italian dessert—following earlier seasonal versions like Strawberry Pistachio and Fresh Mango—combining figs with earl grey for added fragrance. Two discounted set options are offered: a Season Special Set (fig salad plus pasta and pizza) and a Season Party Set (adds Italian steak “Tagliata di Manzo”(딸리아따 디 만조)), both at 10% off regular price. The Place says it advanced the launch to match peak fig season and aims to offer cohesive meal-to-dessert choices made with daily house-made recipes for special gatherings.
