Korea's 46 National Recreational Forests are gaining attention as winter vacation spots. Managed by the National Recreational Forest Management Office, these forests offer various facilities like independent lodging, a forest recreation center for groups, cabins for camping without tents, and pet-friendly camping grounds. The facilities have recently been upgraded with improved amenities like sanitation complexes and expanded camping decks. Fees range from 36,000 KRW on weekdays for lodgings and 10,000 KRW for camping, with discounts available for certain groups. During the Lunar New Year holiday, entry fees are waived, inviting families to enjoy the forest's charms. "Let's enjoy the romance of winter forests with your family," said Director Myung-Jong Kim.
