The Central Observatory in Yanggu County, South Korea, is hosting a 'Stargazing Tour with Dogs' program starting April, inviting pet families to enjoy the night sky from the observatory's rooftop, known for the clearest views of the stars in Korea. The program, held once a month, includes a scientific talk about dogs and space, and lying on the rooftop to stargaze with your furry companions (dogs referred to as '댕댕이' in a playful manner). There's also an opportunity to create special photo cards. Reservations can be made by phone or through the KakaoTalk app. Dogs must be under 10kg, and last year, this program attracted almost double the visitors compared to the previous year, highlighting its growing popularity. Other events include children's science camps, full moon festivals, and smartphone astrophotography sessions.
