Nihonshu Korea, an import liquor distribution company, announced the expansion of its New Zealand affordable wine lineup 'SHEiLD', originally launched in December, to five different types: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Albarino, and Pinot Gris. These wines are now available in major wine shops and online in Korea, priced between 20,000 and 30,000 KRW (Korean Won). They have received high scores from global critic James Suckling, with the SHEiLD Riesling scoring 95 points. The wines are produced by SHEiLD Winery, established in 1972 by experienced winemakers Trudy Shield and Blair Gibbs in New Zealand, using organic and environmentally-friendly practices. Nihonshu Korea plans to expand its sales network with the launch of these wines.
