Korean Black Pig 'Woori Heukdon' Debuts in Major Retail Stores

Korea's specially bred black pig, 'Woori Heukdon', has been introduced to major retail stores for the first time. Developed by the Rural Development Administration, Woori Heukdon combines the flavor of Korea's native black pigs with the productivity of Duroc pigs. It features tender meat and rich flavor, becoming available for regular sale after a successful promotional event. With current supply from two farms set to increase, the initiative aims to enhance consumer recognition of this unique Korean pig breed.
