APR Designated as Military Service Research Company to Strengthen R&D Talent

APR was newly selected in 2026 as a 병역지정업체 (military service-designated company) by the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration, enabling qualified conscripts to serve as research personnel instead of military service. The designation provides a formal system to secure mid- to long-term R&D staff and strengthen technological competitiveness. APR’s corporate research lab, the Global Dermatological Science Institute, has built human-application testing for efficacy and safety, and expanded in vitro (in vitro) efficacy testing infrastructure for preclinical studies. Its ADC unit focuses on medical and electronic engineering for beauty devices, and APR has exceeded 300 domestic and international patent filings and registrations. With the designation, APR plans to recruit 전문연구요원 (specialized research personnel) to stabilize talent in dermatology, cosmetology, and medical engineering and to sustain long-term R&D projects.
