Korea’s Space Agency Chief Pays Respects, Vows Progress toward Aerospace Power

Yun Young-bin, head of the Korea Aerospace Agency, visited the Chung-hon-tap (memorial tower) in Sacheon on Jan. 2 to honor fallen patriots and reaffirm commitment to turning Korea into a leading space and aviation nation. Senior agency officials joined the ceremony. Yun said 2026 will be the year policies and strategies the agency has prepared yield concrete results for the country’s rise in aerospace capabilities.
