Two domestic fashion brands—TopTen (a Korean SPA brand) and HAZZYS (a homegrown casual brand)—are expected to surpass 1 trillion won in annual sales this year despite weak overall retail. TopTen, founded in 2012, is on track to break 1 trillion won thanks to aggressive offline store expansion (about 677 stores), strong family-focused assortments, and data/AI-driven inventory and demand planning; its recent promotional event ‘TenTen Day’ alone generated over 100 billion won. HAZZYS will be the first Korean casual brand to reach the milestone, driven by strong overseas growth in China, Taiwan and Russia—where it opened new stores and adapted sizing—plus expanding stores in Vietnam and plans for India and a Shanghai flagship. HAZZYS’ overseas sales now outpace domestic, and its Seoul flagship in Myeong-dong has seen foreign customer spending rise about 40% year-on-year, with 55% of foreign buyers aged 10–30.
