HAGO’s Mosaic Hannam Becomes Fashion Destination for Foreign Visitors

Mosaic Hannam, a multi-brand complex in Seoul’s Hannam-dong launched with investment from fashion platform HAGO, has quickly become a popular destination for foreign visitors. The space links a cafe (Bonanza Coffee) on the 5th floor with fashion showrooms across lower floors, featuring brands like DFOUND, Trimming Bird, Lowtide, LeSeptember and Salty Pebble that sell clothing and accessories. Opened in September, Mosaic Hannam surpassed its first-month sales target and is being positioned as a new brand town—similar to Musinsa in Seongsu or Lotte Town in Jamsil—where HAGO aims to deepen brand experiences through curated retail, café and lifestyle offerings. Since COVID-19, Hannam-dong has expanded from a luxury shopping area to a broader fashion hub with both global luxury flagships and K-fashion/K-beauty brands. On weekdays about 70% of visitors to the area are foreign tourists, and many international shoppers come specifically to experience and buy from Korean brands. Several online-first brands opened their first offline stores here, helping convert online fans into in-person customers as HAGO builds experiential brand hubs and considers linking F&B and fashion portfolios for further expansion.
