Juvis Diet, Korea’s leading weight-loss company known for celebrity clients, plans to open its first overseas store in Asia next year to export “K-diet.” Founded in 2002 and operating 41 directly run centers, Juvis emphasizes sustainable, non-drug programs aimed at fundamental metabolic change that reportedly reduce yo-yo weight regain (요요현상). CEO Kim Dae-kyung says the brand is developing senior-focused programs and a subscription-based health-management app, with four new domestic branches planned. Despite revenue dips and two years of operating losses after a peak in 2022, Juvis expects a rebound to about 70 billion won in sales this year and improved profitability. The company distinguishes its approach from obesity drugs like Wegovy by focusing on long-term lifestyle and body-composition solutions rather than medication.
