'Our Liquor' Festival Returns with Tastings, Auctions and 122 Producers

The 15th annual '2025 Korea Our Liquor Festival' runs for three days from the 14th at Seoul's aT Center, showcasing 122 domestic producers — the largest lineup yet. The event, attended by about 20,000 visitors each year, promotes the diversity and value of traditional Korean alcoholic drinks through hands-on programs like makgeolli (Korean rice wine) brewing workshops, blind tasting of 18 award-winning products, and a limited-edition auction. Industry seminars, public consulting to boost producer capabilities, and export promotion efforts aim to expand our-liquor presence abroad, building on recent international attention such as the 'Tiger Yuzu Raw Makgeolli' served at an APEC leaders' toast. The Ministry of Agriculture plans stronger overseas promotion and selection of export-ready items to make Korean liquor a key part of K-Food and K-Culture.
