They went on many trips together and she even met his parents, but Kim Seon-ho continued to be troubled by her lies during their relationship.

In text messages revealed by Dispatch and provided by Kim Seon-ho's friend, Kim Seon-ho caught her in multiple lies about where she was and with who, which led to their first breakup.

To summarize, the text messages exchanged on July 7, 2020 reveal that Choi Young-ah attended gatherings where other men were present and lied about them, which she claimed were for business occasions.

Kim Seon-ho then tells his friend that he's not jealous when she goes to clubs and gatherings as long as she lets him know when she arrives home, which she failed to do .

One day when Kim finished his shooting early, he texted her asking where she was and she claimed she was home sleeping. He then brought a gift for her to her place only to find out she was not home and her car was no where in the parking lot to be found.

The next day, Kim Seon-ho accepted Choi Young-ah's apology and they reconciled.

Choi Young-ah claimed Kim Seon-ho responded coldly to news of her pregnancy, but it was revealed by another friend of Kim Seon-ho's that he actually congratulated and comforted her. However, they were both afraid and agreed to an abortion.

She claimed he began to treat her differently afterwards, but the truth is that he spent the time to shop for ingredients to make her seaweed soup for two weeks straight though he doesn't know how to cook. He even mentioned knowing the recipe for seaweed soup on the variety show 1 Day 2 Nights.

Dispatch contradicted Choi Young-ah's claim that he misled her about the future of their relationship and lied about wanting to get married. The reality is that Kim Seon-ho even introduced her to his parents and they spent a night at his parents' house. It's reported that she was close to his parents and that Kim Seon-ho even adopted a Shiba Inu puppy for her so she wouldn't feel lonely.

Dispatch received accounts from Choi Young-ah's friends that contrary to her reports about Kim Seon-ho being obsessed with money and just disappearing after paying for the surgery, Kim Seon-ho bought luxury gifts for her and they rarely saw her pay for anything as Kim Seon-ho paid for almost everything for her.

On January 1, 2021, Dispatch received reports that she Choi Young-ah was being threatened by people around her ex-husband. During this time, Kim Seon-ho was very worried for her and spoke to his friends about it.

His friend went on to say that Kim Seon-ho and Choi Young-ah checked each other's KakaoTalk messages one day and he found many videos and recordings of himself that she secretly took on her computer.
