Things to Keep in Mind 

Please make sure to follow the reservation time and date.

The reservation time is the starting time of the photo shoot. Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier to prepare and wait.

Additional options like original copies and different photo sizes can be confirmed and paid on-site with actual samples.

If you are late, the shooting time will be deducted, and if you are more than 10 minutes late or don't show up, the reservation will be automatically canceled without a refund.

Retouched photos can be collected until 16:30 on the same day; for times after 16:30, please visit the next day for collection.

Photo prints will be stored for up to one month, so please pick them up within that period.

Two retouched digital copies will be sent to the email address provided during reservation.

Please make a reservation at least 2 days in advance.

Both packages are based on 2 people, and additional charges apply for extra persons (on-site payment).

For a solo photoshoot, the price will be the same as for 2 people. If you are accompanied by a baby or a pet, it will be considered as 1 person.

The total duration for the photoshoot and selection is 30 minutes, with 15 minutes for shooting and 15 minutes for selecting photos.

Darakbang(attic) Concept Example

Our Visit 

Today, we visited the Because Friends Gwangan Branch, located in Gwangalli. Because Friends Gwangan Branch offers the same darakbang(attic) booth and vintage booth as the Hongdae Branch, allowing customers to choose their preferred booth for reservations. I arrived during the opening hours, and there were no other customers at that time. The store has a clean and neat ambiance with a combination of white and wood elements.

The teddy bear doll next to the mirror can be brought as a prop to take photos with. 

Before starting the photo shoot, you can choose props, but keep in mind that it may take some time, so it's better to arrive earlier than your reserved time. The editor will be taking photos in both the darakbang(attic) concept and the coral concept today. Let's begin by taking photos in the darakbang(attic) studio!

From the moment you start climbing up to the darakbang(attic), you get the feeling of being in an actual attic. On the day we visited, it was raining heavily, and in such weather, you need to take off your shoes before going up to the darakbang(attic) studio.

There are some important precautions to be followed during the photo shoot, which applies anywhere you go. One important point to note is that you should delay pressing the remote for about 3 seconds during the photo shoot. If you press it too quickly, the photo may stop prematurely. Additionally, avoid touching any equipment other than the remote during the photo shoot. Especially, the camera angle is fixed, making it difficult to move. Furthermore, do not pull on the remote too strongly, and be aware of the responsibility in case of any damage. After using props, make sure to return them to their original positions. These are some of the important precautions to be taken during the photo shoot.

Once the staff sets the timer and leaves, you can now begin the photo shoot.

You can check each photo on the front-facing screen after taking it. You can check if the focus is right and whether your expression and pose look natural, allowing you to make adjustments as needed.

Now it's time for the coral concept. Once the staff is ready, you can enter and listen to the instructions. After that, you set the timer and start taking photos.

The coral concept felt more like taking profile photos rather than a vintage vibe. Wearing a soda-colored blouse, the coral background seemed to match the editor well. She tried various poses, sitting, and even lifting one leg, as it was a photo session with friends or alone, there was nothing to be embarrassed about!

After the photo shoot is over, you don't have to check the photos on the monitor in the studio. You can comfortably do the photo selection outside the studio.

Next to the attic concept photo studio, there are chairs and a laptop provided. You can do the photo selection here. The photo selection time is a total of 15 minutes, and you won't be able to see the photos marked with a heart altogether. Because Friends provide 2 retouched versions, and if you want the original photos, you'll need to make an additional payment. The original photos will be sent within 3 days.

The editor took photos in two different concepts, so she chose two photos for each concept. If you have many photos that turned out well and you want additional retouching, you can check the corresponding option on the paper and make the payment on-site. Also, they will send the retouched photos via email, so make sure to provide your email address! Once you have made all your photo selections, please hand the paper to one of the staff members. Depending on the store's situation on that day, you will be informed to come back after a few hours to collect your photos. In our case, since we visited before 16:30 in the morning, we were told to come back after about 2-3 hours. Since the studio is located near Gwanganli Beach, there are many things you can do while waiting for your photos.

Two hours later, we revisited the store, and they first showed us the retouched photos and asked if there were any additional adjustments our editor wanted to make. However, the retouching was done so well that she didn't feel the need for many additional adjustments. Once the retouched photos were confirmed, they proceeded to print them, and we only had to wait for about 5-10 minutes.

At the Gwanganli branch, there was a guestbook where visitors could leave their messages! While we were leaving a message in the guestbook and taking some more mirror selfies, the pictures were printed!

Please turn around and walk straight ahead.

When you see a corner, make a right turn.

Continue straight ahead.

Once you see the pedestrian crossing at the intersection, cross and go in the left direction.
